JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE CLASSES
Our goal at Johnson Avenue is to lead teens to a life of following Christ. As our teenagers develop their faith, we want them to understand the nature of God's authority, the basis of our Christian belief, as well as continuing to broaden their knowledge of the Word.
Our seventh through twelfth graders meet weekly on Sunday mornings to study a Bible topic or text to help them understand, embrace, and apply God’s teaching to everyday life.

“Old Testament Heroes and Zeroes”

This class takes students through a study of 25 Old Testament characters, some good and some bad. Studying each event, the students will learn lessons that will help them as they strive to glorify God with their lives.

Disciples were first called Christians at Antioch (Acts 11:26). From this verse, God binds discipleship and Christianity together. To fully understand being a Christian, God’s word teaches us what it means to be a disciple. This class is designed to help us learn how to be the disciples God wants us to be.
